Huntington Ingalls President and CEO, Mike Petters, on how Quality Education can Change Lives
Mike Petters, President and CEO of Huntington Ingalls, discusses the importance of quality early education in reducing the socio-economic barriers low-income families face in America.
In an interview with Dr. Lori Esposito Murray, President of the Committee for Economic Development at The Conference Board, Petters shares his perspective on addressing the lack of access to high-quality education and how his organization has put in place scholarship programs that tackle the issue beginning at the pre-school level.
“There is a gordian knot sitting at the intersection of educational access and economic challenges,” said Petters.
